Targeted Investor Outreach Campaigns
The purpose of the investor outreach campaigns is to enable certified regions to implement marketing strategies that build on their strengths and opportunities by targeting and contacting investors with profiles likely to be attracted by their specific factor conditions.
The Outreach Programme will focus on building county capacity to proactively attract FDI through outreach, or direct marketing campaigns
Proactive marketing abroad by smaller countries is usually based on sectors of opportunity and/or specific business opportunities. The Outreach Programme will be a mix of both, and will involve teams from the counties working together with the support of the Project team.
The sectors and business opportunities, selected for the Outreach Campaigns will be used as case studies to guide and mentor all the counties in the preparation of their business proposals for presentation to potential investors. The aim is that each county should participate in a meaningful way by working on real cases.
The outcome of the campaigns should be visits to Croatia by prospective investors.
The Outreach campaigns will involve a mix of the following elements:
- target sectors and specific business opportunities
- suitable locations within Croatia
- selected target countries
- direct marketing techniques - market research, targeted companies and executives abroad, mail shots, cold call campaigns etc.
- road shows
- trade shows.
